We are proud to announce that Centro per la Didattica e la Formazione has officially signed the Pact for Skills, a flagship initiative promoted by the European Commission to support skills development, upskilling, and reskilling across Europe.
This important step reflects our long-standing mission: to place people, learning, and languages at the heart of social and professional growth, and to actively contribute to a more inclusive, competitive, and sustainable Europe.
What is Pact of Skills?
The Pact for Skills is a collaborative European framework that brings together public authorities, training providers, companies, social partners, and civil society. Its goal is to anticipate skills needs and ensure that citizens can continuously update their competences throughout their lives.
By signing the Pact, organisations commit to:
Promoting lifelong learning as a fundamental right and necessity
Supporting reskilling and upskilling, especially in times of rapid economic and technological change
Strengthening cooperation between education, training, and the labour market
Ensuring that no one is left behind, particularly vulnerable or disadvantaged learners
Our Vision: Learning as a Life-long journey
We strongly believe that learning does not end with formal education. On the contrary, it is a continuous process that accompanies individuals throughout their personal and professional lives.
Our approach to lifelong learning is based on:
Accessibility – education should be open, flexible, and inclusive
Quality – training must be meaningful, updated, and learner-centred
Innovation – methodologies should evolve with society and technology
Empowerment – learners must gain confidence, autonomy, and transferable skills
Languages as a key to inclusion and new opportunities
One of our core commitments within the Pact for Skills is the diffusion of language learning. Languages are not just tools for communication: they are bridges between cultures, opportunities for employability, and instruments of social cohesion.
Through language education, we aim to:
Foster active citizenship and European identity
Improve employability and mobility in a global labour market
Support intercultural dialogue and inclusion
Enable individuals to participate fully in education, work, and society
Our values in action
By adhering to the Pact for Skills, we reaffirm values that have always guided our work:
Learner-centred education – people come before programmes
Lifelong learning – skills must grow with life and work
Equity and inclusion – education as a driver of social justice
Collaboration – progress comes from shared responsibility
European commitment – local action with a European vision
Looking Ahead
Signing the Pact for Skills is not a symbolic gesture, but a concrete commitment. It means strengthening our training offer, building partnerships at local and European level, and continuously improving our impact on learners and communities.
We are ready to contribute actively to a Europe where skills, languages, and learning empower people at every stage of life.
